MHAC is registered as a nonprofit Trust under the Trustees Perpetual Succession Act (Chapter 164 of the Laws of Kenya) and holds a Certificate of Incorporation dated 26th August 1985 as P/S446/1. It is a public institution held in trust on behalf of the public by the Board of Trustees.
Our mission is to promote Biointensive agriculture for poverty alleviation, human and environmental health, and environmental conservation through training, research, and extension linkages for sustainable community development.
